The daily management of a Whizz Bang Pop franchise can easily be done from a home meaning very little start up costs. During the week your tasks would involve local marketing, taking bookings & ordering and maintaining stock. Whizz Bang Pop would provide you with bookings generated from the main website and national advertising campaigns ensuring a steady stream of potential income. Children’s parties and events are usually taken over the weekends so Saturdays and Sundays would mean heading out to your parties. Most bookings last a maximum of 2 hours and it would be your choice as to how many parties you wanted to book on each weekend. The more bookings you can take, the higher profit for you, so having a team of entertainers is a great advantage.

As a Whizz Bang Pop children’s entertainer you will be able to offer our full range of children’s party packages which include: Classic Activity parties, Groovy Glamour Parties & Teddy Bear making. Each week you would get to dress up as a fairy, princess, pirate, pixie or clown and bring fun and laughter to children everywhere!
You will be trained in a whole range of activities including puppetry, face painting, balloon modeling, party games, craft activities and many more. We also train you on behaviour management techniques, marketing and promotion of your business.

Who are Whizz Bang Pop?
Whizz Bang Pop was founded by Sally C. Davis in 2005, firstly under the name of Smiles Entertainment and latterly under the registered brand name of Whizz Bang Pop.
Previous to becoming a performer Sally worked with children in a variety of settings including being a Nanny, a Summer Camp Worker and a Family Advisor at Family Matters (part of Early Years Childcare). Sally then trained as a professional actress at the Academy of Creative Training drama school in Brighton in 2002 before starting her children’s entertainment empire.
Sally began her weekend children’s party entertainment whilst working fulltime on a children’s theatre tour. She says
“I quickly realised that my role as a children’s entertainer could take two directions. I could keep my weekday job acting job with my TIE company and take on a small number of children’s parties each weekend or I could extend the services that I offered by travelling further a field, developing new packages and building a reliable team of entertainers to take on parties too”.
Sally recruited and trained two new members of staff and the expansion of the business was then quite rapid. By the following summer she had seven entertainers working exclusively for her and covering the whole of greater London.
Since then, the company has gone from strength to strength. Whizz Bang Pop now has teams of entertainers in London, Sussex and the West Midlands. Sally says
“Managing my own team of entertainers was challenging at first but now I love it. Anyone looking for a stimulating and rewarding job should defiantly consider a Whizz Bang Pop franchise, it beats a 9 – 5 any day!”
As well as managing Whizz Bang Pop Sally also writes children’s books and plays and is Co-Founder of Simply Smiley Productions, a successful children’s theatre company. She has written & toured 5 children’s plays and is currently working on a new novel or 13 – 16 year olds.
“Without my salary from Whizz Bang Pop I would never have been able to work on my writing or many of my lesser well paid acting roles. Having this financial stability has given me the opportunity to develop my drama skills and is a great way to earn some ‘bread and butter’ money whilst in the acting world” says Sally
