How to Engage in Astral Travel

We have all had those incredible dreams where we are flying – it’s an amazing feeling of complete freedom. What if you could experience this feeling anytime you wanted? Astral travel is just like these dreams. Astral travel is how your astral body makes its way around the astral plane; it does this by flying, just as in your dreams. When you astral travel, all you need to do is to think of what you want to do or where you‘d like to go and your astral body will fly there at the speed of thought.

Many people confuse actual astral travel with dreaming. This is not to say that each and every dream a person has is an astral travel adventure. When you first go to sleep and begin to dream it is your minds way of working through the events of your day. This is when the mind is trying to work out various stresses or events that were not settled while you were awake. This helps to keep you sane. Few of those dreams are remembered, and if they are remembered it is only bits and fragments.

But those dreams which you awake from being able to recall each and every detail as it were still happening – these are astral travel experiences. It is a good idea to keep a dream journal by your bed so that you can write down everything you remember of these experiences as soon as you awake. While it not all make sense at first, keep your journal – it will all make more sense later on.

Just like regular dreams help you work out the stresses of your life, astral travel dreams also have extreme benefits. The types of astral travel experiences you have will be unique to you, as will be the benefits. This is why it is important for you to keep track of them rather than try to compare them with someone else’s.

Generally speaking though, benefits to experiencing astral travel and keeping track of your experiences can include a deepening of spirituality. When we say this, what we are referring to is a deeper connection to the soul and the world around you. This promotes inner peace and feelings of well being. Another benefit to astral travel is that it can increase memory and creativity. This is because astral travel sparks activity in parts of the brain that we typically do not use.

Once practicing astral travel, you should see a significant boost in your telepathic and psychic strength. Anyone who works at astral projection will tell you that their psychic abilities increase the more they practice. They can more easily sense sprits and use their telepathic skills.

When you astral travel, you use untapped psychic energies and cause your psychic abilities to bloom.

Even skeptics who didn’t believe that astral projection and astral travel were real, experienced that ability to see and read peoples’ auras.

This can also be a thrilling, fun experience which can give you a new found sense of empowerment. When you astral travel, you have the ability to go anywhere you want and do things far beyond the limitations imposed by your physical body.

It is hard to believe that astral travel isn’t consciously experienced by more people. Most people are simply afraid to try because they believe one must have the skills present. However, everyone is born with this ability as long as they are willing to practice it.

Whether you realize it or not, you have already astral traveled. You’ve had those flying dreams too – they are astral travel experiences.

The key to reaping the benefits of this experience is for you to do it consciously, which means nothing more then you need to be aware that you are doing it and be able to control what your astral body is doing.

There are techniques that you can learn on your own through books offine or ebooks and other resources online. These were created by people who practice astral travel. Learning to astral travel is not as difficult as people want to believe that it is. This is a natural ability that you were born with, you just forgot how to use it and need to fine tune your ability.
