Before you do anything make sure you make a cover letter, a resume, and take good head shots. Go over your documents and make sure they look professional, even have someone make them for you if you have to.

Next find casting and auditions in your area by getting a talent manager or a manager.To find a good agent make sure you ask actors to refer you to a good agent. Some good industry magazines that are good resources to find auditions are Backstage and Variety. Their are also other websites online that you can find this information.

After you have found an agent that you want to contact, be sure that you act professional and give them al your documents. Taking my advice will definitely give you a better chance of getting an audition for acting.
